The academic year unfolded at Campus Rangers Learning Centre & Campus Rangers International School in Kuala Lumpur, and anticipation built for the much-awaited Year 9 Pre-IGCSE Expedition. This transformative camp will set the stage for the student’s transition into the challenges as they step into Year 10.

The expedition brought together the vibrant community of the Learning Centre & International School Secondary Year 9 students, making it a collective experience of growth, learning, and bonding. As one of the leading private schools in KL, we recognise the importance of holistic development, and this event aimed to nurture not just academic prowess but also resilience, teamwork, and self-discovery.

The students delved into a series of activities designed to challenge them physically, mentally, and emotionally at the scenic Usima Forest Resort. From art therapy sessions fostering creativity to thrilling adventures like the flying fox, and an enlightening night walk. Each activity was aimed to bring unique insights and self-reflections.

One notable accomplishment from this expedition was overcoming fears together. The flying fox tested the student’s fear of heights, water confidence exercises challenged their fear of water, and the night walk prompted self-reflection and courage in darkness. Witnessing each student conquer these hurdles was not only a testament to their individual growth but also to the strength of teamwork cultivated during each activity. 

As the expedition concluded, the students emerged not only with newfound courage but also with a clearer vision for their academic journey ahead. Setting goals for their IGCSE studies, they embraced the challenges that Year 10 would bring, armed with a heightened sense of confidence and self-awareness.
