Started in January 2012 as an IGCSE homeschool, Campus Rangers educates students to academically excel while modelling discipline, commitment, spiritual, and moral principles. In 2019, Campus Rangers expanded its educational offerings by establishing an international school in Old Klang Road. This milestone marked a significant step forward in their mission to provide globally recognized education, combining strong academic foundations with character development in a dynamic and inclusive international learning environment.

Campus Rangers was founded by Mr. Jason Ho and Mrs. Lynn Ho, both passionate educators with a strong commitment to nurturing young minds. Mr. Ho began his career as a teacher, while Mrs. Ho served as a lecturer, gaining valuable experience in academic instruction and student development. Their shared vision and deep dedication to education led them to establish Campus Rangers, with the goal of creating a learning environment that inspires excellence, character, and global-mindedness. Driven by their belief in holistic education, they founded the school to provide students with both strong academic foundations and meaningful life values.

Campus Rangers adopts the internationally recognized Cambridge curriculum, offering a comprehensive and balanced education from primary to secondary levels. Yes, the Cambridge curriculum is widely recognized internationally. It’s developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge, and is offered in nearly 2,300 schools across over 130 countries. These qualifications are designed to prepare students for higher education and are accepted by universities worldwide, including those in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and many others.

At Campus Rangers, we follow the Cambridge guidelines for assessing student progress and reporting outcomes. Our assessments are designed to align with international standards, providing a clear and accurate reflection of each student’s academic development. Progress reports are thoughtfully prepared to offer meaningful insights into strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring that parents and students remain informed and supported throughout their educational journey.

We offer an additional English program with pull-out sessions during non-core subjects. This focused approach allows students needing extra support to strengthen their English skills in a tailored setting, enhancing their confidence and overall language proficiency.

In Malaysia, it is mandatory for international students in tertiary education to learn Bahasa Malaysia (Malay language). This policy aims to promote the national language, foster cultural integration, and enhance the overall student experience.

Campus Rangers is not an inclusive school and does not offer specialized classes for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). However, we may consider admitting students with mild symptoms of autism, based on a thorough assessment and interview process. Admission is also subject to the review of the student’s medical report, ensuring we can provide a supportive environment aligned with their learning needs and well-being.

All our teachers hold at least a bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching license. They possess strong classroom management skills and bring between 8 to 40 years of teaching experience, ensuring a high standard of education and student support.

From Preschool to Year 2, each class is supported by one teacher and one teacher assistant to ensure personalized attention and care. Our classrooms have a maximum capacity of 20 students, creating an ideal learning environment that supports early development, engagement, and strong student-teacher relationships

We conduct regular classroom observations by the Head of School to maintain teaching quality. In addition, our teachers participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices and enhance their skills for effective and engaging instruction.

English is our primary language of instruction and is also taught as a second language for non-native speakers. We offer additional foreign language classes in Mandarin, Hindi, and Malay to support multilingual development and cultural understanding among our students.

To support students’ social-emotional learning and mental well-being, we run a weekly wellness program every Wednesday, with participation required for all students. Our teacher utilizes AI tools to monitor well-being indicators, while our counselor provides close supervision and intervenes promptly if any serious emotional concerns are identified.

Students can develop leadership skills through roles such as Student Council, class monitor, librarian, and CCA club or society office bearers. We also organize a leadership camp to further enhance students’ confidence, responsibility, and overall leadership qualities.

Our students engage in community service through initiatives like the Entrepreneur Club, which raises funds throughout the year. These efforts support various charitable organizations, fostering social responsibility, empathy, and a spirit of giving among students while developing real-world skills.

We conduct orientation on the first day. At the beginning of school, the homeroom teacher implements a buddy system by assigning a student to support and guide the new student. Additionally, the homeroom teacher provides ongoing mentoring, regularly checking on students’ well-being and academic progress.

Our school campus is fully gated with 24-hour security guards and surveillance by Vivo9 Seputeh Condominium guards. CCTV cameras monitor all areas to ensure student safety. These comprehensive security measures provide a secure and protected environment, giving parents peace of mind about their children’s well-being on campus.

At our school, bullying and behavioral issues are taken very seriously. We have a dedicated Disciplinary Board that follows a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to address and resolve such matters promptly and fairly. To promote a positive environment, reminders about respectful behavior and anti-bullying policies are regularly shared during school assemblies. Our approach ensures a safe, supportive, and respectful community for all students to thrive.

Our digital learning tools include projectors, smart boards, and 3D printers. Starting from Year 4, students are also required to bring their own laptops every Wednesday for tech-integrated learning.

We keep parents informed about their child’s academic progress and school updates through our parent portal (Tenjin) and Google Classroom. To encourage strong home-school communication, we host regular coffee mornings and hold termly Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs). Parents are also welcome to schedule appointments with teachers at any time through our school registrar.
